Mr. Oscar Xing Luo – Fika’s Chief Technology Officer acted as a guest speaker to share about AI at the workshop “AI in Reality”, hosted by Flagship Startup Club at the International University, HCMC on the 18th of March, 2021.
This event was part of Fika’s Growth Program, with the aim to connect and inspire young individuals, especially generation Z – who are in the process of finding themselves. This was not only an opportunity for these university students to discover more about how to manage a startup and learn more about AI in everyday life, but also about how AI is integrated into a dating and friends app such as Fika.
At the workshop, Mr. Oscar Xing Luo – Chief Technology Officer of Fika – shared practical knowledge about AI and how to utilise AI in the extremely growing information technology industries in Vietnam. In addition, he also prepared some interactive sessions for students to analyze various examples of AI in real life by themselves.
Members of the Flagship club were very excited to participate in the interaction session, where they could directly practice, analyze and apply AI in real life, under the guidance of Mr. Oscar. Xing Luo. They spent sometime working together in small groups and were able to come up with many interesting concepts. Mr. Xing Luo was very impressed about how passionate these students were about AI and technology.
Fika is very happy to be given another opportunity to meet and inspire young people who are interested in technology in Ho Chi Minh City. Fika hopes that all of you at the International University had a good time at the workshop and hope to see you again soon!
